Working the parking lot

So last evening at the Waffle House, look what greeted us effusively:

I think they could smell the bacon.

I know Boxers are in the working group but I do believe I detect some hound.

At any rate they were most playful. I should've taken a video because there was much squabbling and scrambling and jockeying for position at the truck bed's edge.

This one in particular loved the camera. His sweet brown eyes beseeched me to take more! More!

And here is the reason I'm a dog person ... I so totally relate to this attitude. Dude what is NEXT? What in the sam hill is NEXT?

We use to have one when I was young...His name was Festus and he was a Sweetie AND very protective! I Never got a goodnight smooch on the front porch because of him!Hahaa

They are lovers not fighters.

I was driving home yesterday. There was a pick-up in front of me with some big dog in the back. His tongue was hanging out and flapping in the wind. It was so long it was whacking him in the head, must have been a foot long. He looked so cute and was having such a good time.

Donna ... precious is the only word to describe these darlings! It made me so happy to stand there with them and to take their pictures!

Mari ... that's what my mother calls Javier ... her granddog! But she's not a dog person in the least!

Hobbit ... so true. Even the idea of dogs is wonderful! I get all smiley just thinking about them.

Donna M. ... all the best people are dog people! HAHA ... and you're right; those pups were having a ball in the back of that truck. They loved having someone to "talk" to ... me, hahahaha!

Debbie ... I love to see a dog riding in a truck or with their head sticking out a car window. They LOVE it! It's like the most fun thing in the world to them. Just makes you happy to see them so happy.
