But it was so real
You won't believe what I dreamt dreamed dreamt had a dream nightmare about last night.
First of all I'll have you know I was walking through waist-deep snow to go to church.
In my dream, I mean.
Yes I was.
And yes! Of course I would do that in real life.
Wouldn't you?
Anyway, TG and I got there (to church, in my dream) and for some reason I had applied mascara to just one of my (two) eyes so he went to be seated and I went to the ladies' room to fix up my other eye.
There's lots more at this point but I'll cut to the chase.
I looked into the mirror and I HAD A HUGE TATTOO ON MY FACE.
It was a rose just to the right of my nose. As in, a big red rose BESIDE MY NOSE.
And blue-green leafy vines swirling off it, ending up in decorative triangles (apex down, sort of pointing to my jaw/chin) on both sides.
Plus I had a huge tattooed NECKLACE around my neck.
Come to think of it, that was rather pretty.
As you might imagine, I woke up freaked out and could not wait until church was over so I could tell you all about this bizarre occurrence.
And I implored TG to take me to this favorite haunt ...
... for a pecan waffle and a big piece of country ham and copious amounts of hot, fresh coffee.
As a palliative for the trauma.
"Why of course, baby," he responded.
At least I know he's no nightmare.
Now I'm trying to work up the nerve to look in the mirror.

That is so funny! Now the necklace thing might work, but then it still wouldn't go with everything. Yes - I think you better skip the tattoo.
Thanks for the laugh!
ROFL! A pecan waffle will fix about anything, including soothing reassurance that it was only a dream.
I think you've been thinking about tattoos too much lately. BTW, my fake Sunday morning ankle tattoo today was little roses and swirly vines. How's that for freaky coincidence?
Mari ... the necklace was great but you're right! No way would it match everything! I do believe I'll skip it! LOLOL
Donna M. ... ain't it the truth? A trip to Waffle House is a dream come true.
Hobbit ... NO it wasn't! You serious? That's just ... too much.
The word for which I was looking was synchronicity, but I didn't find it until today.
