Thoughtful Thursday: This is how an American President looks and sounds
In case you'd forgotten.
Take three minutes and thirty-four seconds to get stirred up today.
>+<>+<>+<>+<
And now a word from He Who Simply Does Not Get It and in whose case the word presidential applies about as much as the term ravishing beauty applies to Quasimodo -- to which disfigured freak, come to think of it, he bears a striking resemblance -- and yes that's ad hominem and if you don't like it allow me to remind you that you click out the same way you clicked in:
Because, Mr. Obama, all respect due your office, you are a blooming idiot if you think the Death-to-America muslims want to build that mosque there merely so that they may practice the religious freedom promised to all Americans.
Let me be clear: if you do not comprehend and appreciate the meaning of the colorful colloquialism in your face, I do believe you soon will ... in November 2010 and November 2012 respectively.
>+<>+<>+<>+<
God bless the United States of America and confound her enemies, foreign and domestic.
Especially domestic.

Well, I skipped the second one, can't stand the sound of his voice. I'm so sad that I missed the Reagan years. I was here, but we didn't have a TV or newspaper and I was barefoot and pregnant just about the whole decade. And I was politically incurious, being new to the country. I wonder if any of us really appreciated the man for the president that he was at the time?
Ruing the fact that I can't be in DC for Glenn's rally. 8-(
HEAR, HEAR!!!! Encore!!Hahaaa...
Well Said!

Great comparison. I'm so sick of Obama, every time I turn on the TV, there he is with another speech telling us how wonderful he is and how much he has done. Yes in just 2 years look at the damage he has done.
What a contrast! sure miss Pres. Reagan and I am so sick of Obama!
OMG, I just got chills and am crying. President Reagan WAS presidential, and stood firm with no apologies. Our sorry excuse in the White House now is an embarassment. I MISS REAGAN SO MUCH!!!!!!
Hobbit ... I know ... it's hard for me to listen to and watch him and normally I avoid it. Makes my skin crawl. And although I adore President Reagan and always have, you are right. We didn't appreciate him like we should.
Donna ... he did say it well, didn't he? The Great Communicator indeed.
Debbie ... Obama hopes to do twice the damage in the next two years as he did in the first. I hope we can withstand his recklessness and ego.
Mari ... you and millions of others! I hope we're enough to ensure he is not granted a second term of unimaginable progressive destruction.
Donna M. ... it makes me cry too! President Reagan was better than we deserved and it seems we should have listened more closely to what he had to say. I hope we have only two more years of this particular brand of embarrassment in the White House.
