Placeholder :: Here I stand
I got an email from a friend, just checking to verify that I was still alive.
I am. And thank you.
But I figured it's time to stop malingering when it comes to this website.
I've been distracted.
I'd apologize but I figure that's lame.
So here you go: Dagny, wearing her first real shoes.
Sixteen months old. Not quite walking but definitely standing.
It is a step in the right direction.
I predict that by next Saturday, she will be trotting all over the place.
And yes, I did get you some pictures of the broken dams.
I'll share them with you on Monday.
And that is a promise I won't break.
And that is all for now.

Happy Weekend

Is she having trouble learning to walk? She sure is a beautiful little girl!
@Judy ... No, no trouble. She's just a late walker. My guess is, she enjoys being carried too much, hahaa. She bustles all around as long as she's pushing something like her grocery cart, but she's reluctant to let go. The shoes will change everything. Good to see you. xoxo
Cute as ever. Every child different in their stages. :)
Good to see a post from you, Jenny. I thought the heat had gotten to you! I cannot believe Dagny has grown so much. She has become her own little person (who obviously has a stylist). My own sons were "late" walkers and several of my grandchildren followed that pattern. Sam was also a late talker, and now I can't get a word in edgewise. They do things in their own good time. Be well.
Big smiles here at seeing a post from you! Even bigger smiles when I saw the photo of Dagny, She sure is cute and is growing too fast! I love the shoes!
Our Alaina was like Dagny - she could have walked, but didn't trust herself to let go a do it. Now Ruby is another story. Laura says she is going to be the death of her. She started walking at 11 months and now climbs onto anything she can. Last week she climbed the ladder of the bunk bed, then couldn't get back down and was hanging up there till Laura rescued her. The ladder has now been removed...
