I'll be humming El Rushbo's brilliant and timely ditty as I prod TG into hauling the Christmas decorations out of the attic this weekend.

Oh dear. The musician in me is almost as horrified as the conservative in me! 8-D It was almost too true to be funny.
I often wonder how Rush and all the other conservative talk show people have the stamina to keep going, year after year. It wears me out and I don't have to talk about it every day.

@Hobbit ... I'm worn out too. I refuse to listen to any TV news anymore. I never listen to talk radio unless I am with TG in the car when it's on. He listens every day so he tells me what I need to know. But I do love the satirical stylings of Rush and Company!

@Glenda ... mercy girl. I would have paid good money to see that. But you know that upstairs guest room of mine? Well. Today I was changing all the linens trying to get out in front of impending company, when, what do you know, I got my TOE stuck in a loop of the openwork decoration on the bottom of the bedskirt. I LOST MY BALANCE trying to jerk the toe out, fell hard on my back, and cracked my head on the base of that TV cabinet. I told TG, I do believe I lost consciousness for about three seconds. I for sure saw stars. Now I have a big lump on my head. *sigh*
Oh no, the guest room is * Booby Trapped*....so thankful that didn't happen to me up there! How is your poor head now. That TV cabinet probably gave you a big egg on your noggin girl. What a day for both of us...funny..but not..since you were injured. The spider suffered a fatality....but my dear friend has a bad headache and, I hope, nothing else.............L Y...G
I heard that on the radio yesterday while we were driving to and fro! It would be funny if it wasn't so sad. It's a gimme, gimme society now. Makes me ill.
And decorating already? Oh gosh, I don't even want to think about it! We're going out of town again next week, so ours are going to be put up late. I'm voting for the minimal approach again this year, LOL!

I love these parodies that Rush has on his show. The free Obama cell phone woman was indicative of the type people who voted for Obama and gave him this win. It truly is sad and frustrating. I read somewhere that "Republicans can't out-Liberal the Liberals", which is true -- but why would we want to? Why are many of the Republican leaders pushing for us to become more like the Left? The Left sticks to it's beliefs and doesn't care what people thing. The Republicans on the other hand deny their base, which is Conservative, and think they must please the 'middle' and try to win the Left. Won't happen.
